If you have finished doing keyword research, then the next stage is to do the think about how put the keywords in right pages. But before that you need to decide what will be the site structure or architecture. Which will be your main pages? Which will be category or brand pages? And which will be product pages? How the links of pages will be displayed in the website menu? Make sure that most of the bottom level pages to be accessed from top page with maximum 3 clicks. More clicks will make the users feel bored about the site and they might not visit the site again.  


Content

The content is king. For content generation, remember the following points:
·          Read about your industry and study competitor pages before generating the contents
·          Write unique contents. Don’t copy it from the competitors or other websites
·          Go for the long contents. A page with 1000-2000 words can rank better than other pages with 150 words. However, there may be exceptions. If the page with 150 words has more exciting contents (text+images+videos), bears any significance and from a site with good domain authority, then it stands a chance to rank higher.
·          Contents should be relevant to the industry which the site focuses on.
·          Create contents on topics that nobody has covered before. That increases your chance for better ranking on Google for the content pages.
·          Try updating the page contents regularly (say, monthly). Google loves fresh contents. Search engines don’t like to rank too old or outdated contents.  
·          Spread your keywords throughout the content. But don’t over-optimize your contents with keywords. That is spam.
·          Don’t use the same set of keywords for different pages. That is keyword cannibalization.

What is keyword cannibalization?

Keyword cannibalization can occur when you are targeting the same keyword(s) for multiple pages. When keyword cannibalization is done, search engines don’t understand which page to rank a keyword for as there might be dozens of the pages optimized for the same keyword. Hence, the site will lose great ranking opportunity for the keywords.
So, by creating the right c0ntent optimized with targeted keywords, you can expect great results. If the content is great and the site has good domain authority (DA), the job of SEO becomes much easier.
